This is the architecture we believe in.
Beau LaCroix is a home designed to make the most of a compact site and a restrained budget. Located in the heart of Camps Bay, the architectural response was driven by clarity, simplicity, and a desire to create expressive volume through minimal means.
The roof is the defining element – a pair of interlocking mono-pitch forms that shape the identity of both the exterior and interior spaces. Inside, the roof slopes are expressed through airy, double-volume spaces in the living area and stairwell, bringing light deep into the home and creating a sense of generosity beyond its physical footprint.
The material palette was intentionally pared back – pale timber floors, crisp white walls, and clean lines throughout. Detailing is simple and refined, reinforcing a sense of calm and clarity while remaining cost-efficient. The result is a home that feels both sculptural and grounded, open yet intimate.
