Purposeful Design. Rooted in Place.

This is the architecture we believe in.

House Go

Set on the slopes of Fresnaye with sweeping views over Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard, this contemporary home is a refined expression of coastal modernism. The design embraces simplicity and clarity, with a strong emphasis on clean lines, open spaces, and a crisp white material palette that reflects the surrounding natural light.

Large sliding doors open up the ground floor living areas to a generous covered terrace and pool deck, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection ideal for both relaxed living and entertaining. The outdoor spaces are thoughtfully designed to feel like natural extensions of the interiors, with timber soffits, polished concrete floors, and soft lighting tying everything together.

About the project

Inside, the interiors are pared back yet warm, blending minimalist detailing with carefully selected finishes and furnishings. The open-plan layout enhances flow and maximises natural light, while subtle textures and curated art pieces lend a sense of personality and comfort. Upstairs, the master suite opens onto a private balcony with uninterrupted views of the ocean, framed by slim vertical fins and frameless glass balustrades that provide privacy without sacrificing the view.

This home strikes a careful balance between sophistication and ease — a calm, contemporary retreat that feels deeply connected to its context.
