This is the architecture we believe in.
With a total floor area of approximately 3,500m², the Alpas facility was designed as an integrated commercial environment that seamlessly connects its industrial and customer-facing functions. The core challenge—and opportunity—was to blend the differing spatial requirements of a working factory and a showroom into a single coherent design.
The solution came in the form of a continuous curving roof membrane that unites the building's elements. The roof folds fluidly from the lower-profile public-facing showroom across to the taller warehouse volumes, giving the building a sculptural identity and a dynamic silhouette when viewed from the street.
To address the western orientation and high street visibility, the façade was carefully designed to manage solar exposure. A variety of light-filtering devices were employed, including brise-soleil, fins, and screening elements, which add depth and articulation to the street-facing elevation while improving interior comfort.
Internally, the showroom and office spaces are light-filled and legible, while the warehouse and factory spaces are designed for flow and efficiency. Together, they form a flexible and future-proof platform for the business to operate, showcase, and grow—all framed within a strong architectural statement.
